We take a nice walk of about 18 km to the east. We see villages and we walk among the rice fields. It is an unbearable heat, we see some women with umbrellas to protect themselves from the sun, what a good idea. It is common to see old people smoking big pipes.

Another option is to make the trip by taxi (about 300¥), but we find it very expensive and after the beating to get here we feel like walking on our own.

The terraces of Yuangyan are located in the southeast of Yunnan province, all the mountains are divided into terraces where rice is grown, you have several viewpoints from which to enjoy the views that are impressive.

There are practically no restaurants open for eating, probably because it is low season, but we found a street stall outside a school.
