India day 7: Varkala.

Submitted by maria on Thu, 13/06/2013 - 19:51

It's raining at dawn. We are looking for a place to connect to the Internet. We go to an agency to buy plane tickets to go back to Dehli and from there to Agra, the Taj Mahal is waiting for us.

We spend the afternoon sniffing the shops on the beach, there is a Tibetan one that we love but it is very expensive.

Clafouti and Café del Mar, are two good places to eat and drink.

Kathakali is a characteristic dance style of South India, especially Kerala. As it is the low season, there is no place to see a performance.

We give ourselves a rejuvenating ayurvedic massage (or so they say), the girl who touches me loves it, she even made me some braids. Totally recommendable.
