We all had breakfast together in our Guest by the Mekong, said goodbye. We go right to the money and change in an exchange house.

We arrive at the dock and the boat leaves full. The engine doesn't seem to be able to carry that much weight and we almost got stuck on a nearby island. We could feel the swirls and the force of the water. There was a moment when the boat was not going where the driver wanted it to go and we stopped at another island. In Laos there are no safety measures, no life jackets and practically no hospitals.

We arrive again at Ban Nakasang and take a van to Champasak, well not exactly, since we have to cross the river again in another boat. It seemed that we were going very comfortable but the driver stops and they fill the van with frogs, jiji, the one with the frogs also rides. Many times you have to travel with merchandise, the problem is if it is fish that enters the smell and the water that releases ...

We arrive at the pier (without passing through Pakse), the boatman stops in a muddy terrain before reaching the shore and a couple gets off, impatient, seeing that the terrain is slippery and fills with mud starts to shake the boat, when we get off the boat, the girl rubs her flip-flops over the boatman's shirt while shouting at him, in short.

Two Japanese and we take a tuk tuk into town. We start a journey of accommodations, they are quite bad and dirty or very expensive. In the end we find one that is very good and very clean, Hotel Si Amphone. We rest for a while and walk through the village that consists of a long street with establishments.

We have dinner next to the Mekong in a beautiful modern Asian restaurant, some morning glory (Asian vegetables) among several delights. It is opposite to where we slept. A gekko tries to eat a butterfly twice his size.
