It's 4 a.m. and it's completely daylight, the train makes a technical stop in the middle of the mountains. We are in short sleeves in the snow, amazing.

The landscape is spectacular since we left Oslo, the idea was to sleep but the truth is that it is worth to be entertained with the landscape. In the train you have a mask and an inflatable pillow.

We arrived in Bergen at 7 am, it is quite hot and we are a bit dazed.
We look for our accommodation, it is a room in an apartment in the old part of Bergen where we share bathroom and kitchen. It is beautiful, the typical Norwegian white wooden house.

We rest a bit. First stop is the monument to the sailors, near there is the office of Hurtigruten, company with which we have contracted the excursion of the day after tomorrow and in which there was an error in the dates. They are very nice and they solve the problem without any additional cost.

We arrive at the Hanseatic Port, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a beautiful place, a must if you visit Bergen. All the buildings are made of wood and have been converted into shops and galleries.

We have a well-deserved beer in the port at five euros a pint. A boy plays REM songs nearby.

We visit the neighbourhood where we stay, it's beautiful. We arrive to USF, a cultural centre where there is live music. We enjoy the atmosphere and relax until dinner time in the apartment.
