We have breakfast, get our backpacks and go to the Orangutan Rehabilition Center. It is part of the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve.
Orphaned and injured orangutans arrive at Sepilok to be rehabilitated and returned to their environment. They are fed twice a day, which is when you are most likely to see them.
We woke up with some tremendous shoelaces. We find it difficult to get to the restaurant for breakfast but it is worth it to have a terrace overlooking Mount Kinabalu. We visit the botanical garden of the Park. It is quite good, there are carnivorous plants. It is a small walk in the middle of the jungle.
At times we manage to sleep, we get up before two o'clock in the morning, we have coffee, tea, bread, rice and noodles for breakfast, we have to get our strength back.

Early in the morning, today we start the ascent of Mount Kinabalu and we are very excited.

We get up and have breakfast, 1 scrambled egg, two slices of bread, tea or coffee. We take a walk through the day market, stalls of meat, fish, vegetables, fruit ... A man repairs shoes by hand.

At 4 in the morning we leave from Burgos to Madrid's Adolfo Suárez Barajas International Airport, our flight leaves at 11 in the morning.
Stopover in Doha of just one hour, we arrive when they are already boarding.
